THE BLACK CROWES Map Out Summer Tour
April 8, 2010According to The Pulse of Radio, THE BLACK CROWES will spend the spring and early summer on tour backing last summer's "Before the Frost … Until the Freeze". The band will get things underway April 23 at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and wind the outing down July 25 in Louisville, Kentucky.
"Before The Frost…" was recorded in front of an intimate audience over five nights at Levon Helm's Barn in Woodstock, New York. BLACK CROWES guitarist Rich Robinson tells The Pulse of Radio it was a fitting environment especially because the band likes to change things up with every new album. "We're proud of the fact that we've changed every record," he said. "I think that it's helped our career and added to it. Whether we've sold more or less over the years, I think it's helped us along the way."
THE BLACK CROWES are currently made up of brothers guitarist Rich Robinson and singer Chris Robinson, along with longtime drummer Steve Gorman and bassist Sven Pipien. There's also keyboardist Adam MacDougall and guitarist Luther Dickinson.
